There are a few reasons to
watch this film. It has a great title. Guin Turner is stunning as usual. If you
are into the SM or fetish scenes, there are very few other movies that represent
these communities. On the other hand, despite its daring subject matter, the plot
is quite predictable and a bit disappointing when it becomes a straight romance
(although with kinks). MP Henry Harding (Tom Bell) is on a crusade to rid
London of moral indecency and targets fetish clubs that are "against Christian
teachings." He sends in Peter (Christien Anholt), a young employee, to infiltrate
and get close to Tanya Cheex (Turner, Stray Dogs, Chasing
Amy, Go Fish, The Watermelon
Woman, "The L Word," Kiss Me Guido, Hung, Fabulous!,
FtF: Female to Femme), an American
dominatrix. With his camera recording so called illegal acts, Peter falls
in love with Tanya, although she doesn't do vanilla relationships. He competes
for her attentions with Eugenie (Julie Graham, "At
Home with the Braithwaites"), a lesbian wiccan who celebrates cunt power.
Eugenie is also in love with Tanya, although Tanya says that she only wants the
two to serve her. Peter turns in the damning video tape. When it comes time
for trial, will he testify against Tanya? Tanya lets down her no penetration rule
for Peter, and Eugenie also sticks around to continue to serve her mistress. |
