Back in 2001, Babylon 5's Claudia Christian (Ivanova) and Xena regulars Alex Tydings (Aphrodite) and Claire Stansfield (Alti) were entertaining many a Xena and women of sci-fi convention audience with readings of Xena lesbian fan fiction and performances of "The Vagina Monologues." They embraced their lesbian fans and debuted this music video during Dragon*Con following a charity auction for kisses from all three at a lesbian bar in Atlanta.

Christian's song "Taboo" is from her cd "Once Upon a Time," and the music video was directed, produced and edited by Stansfield. It features Tydings making out with androgynous models Katja and Sebastian, while Christian sings in various stages of dress and undress.

Said Stansfield, "Claudia wanted to make a sort of sexy video ... and I called her and said, 'Do you mind if I make a video for our fans?' Thank you for all of your support, and this is my thank you to you guys."

Taboo is definitely a sexy video. VHS copies are still available from Christian's website and a must have for fans of any of the participants. Initially a cut in which Christian exposed her breasts was released, but that version is now sold out.
